Bulky sweater
Hope you all had a happy Christmas and are looking forward to this new year as much as I am!!
I finally got enough yarn to start a project I've wanted to for a long time!!
Though I highly recommend starting projects when your not tired and it's 10 at night :)
So here's the first pictures of my sweater, this is going to be pulled apart and re-knitted cause it's turned out way to small.

Thanksgiving and projects.
Hope Everyone out there had as wonderful a Thanksgiving as I did! :)
We got to spend time with Family and Friends!
I've Made quite a few things in the past few months.
I have a few pictures and i'll get up some more later on.
Starting with.. My Slippers! There awesome! and where super simple to make.
And I've not had much experience with felting, but these worked great.
I also made this hat from a pattern i found in
"One-Skein Wonders Luxury yarns"
And i spun the yarn myself!
It's a lace weight and the fiber was Merino and something else..
someone gave it to me.. this picture doesn't do the color justice... :)
And I've knitted a sweater and put buttons on another one i made last year..
I'm now working on another sweater out of Lion Brand Yarn..
not my favorite yarn but there colors are so pretty!
and i'm almost done with a queen sized afghan i started about a week and a half ago.
and it's almost done! this will have been the quickest afghan I've ever made :)
here's the blog i found the pattern on.
and here's the one she made.
Mine has a black background

I've also knitted and felted a bag out of this pattern.
I really like it! but i ran out of the yarn i was using, so i think i'll make my strap out of a piece of leather or something like that.

Photoshoot
I've FINALLY got around to adding some of the pictures from our photo shoot!
It was so much fun!
You'll be able to see some of the dresses I've made!
And that is the White Regency dress i made ALL by hand! And i have a bodiced petticoat under it also sewed by hand, I'll try to get some pictures of it up.
And here is the rest of the picture's without further delay.
The Photographer
The Helper and 2nd Photographer.
She carried everything and made the "set" look SO pretty!
My Ashford Traveller Wheel
This made me think of a book...
We had to do the picking a flower pose!
Another picture of me and my wheel.
And of course the "Crazy" Picture!
Mid-Evil Dress
I absolutely ADORE this skirt!!
I REALLY love this pattern and will be making another dress out of it in the future!
But i was told this wasn't exactly my color :) And there where a few other things i want to tweak on it.
But i had a LOT of fun doing the hand Embroidery on it.
This is my attempt to make my sundress with a little 1930's flare :)
Hope you enjoy these pictures! I'll try to get some pictures of Mom's finished sweater and the socks I'm almost done knitting up soon!

Sunday Alfredo and Steak
So last Sunday my brother got in a cooking mood and decided to make dinner.
We always love it when he does this he cooks SO well!
So he made Shrimp Mushroom Alfredo, Steak and Bacon wrapped Shrimp.
It was so yummy!
We Grow all our own beef and usually our own chicken. The shrimp came from the store though..
Yummy shrimp, mushroom Alfredo.
These's Shrimp wrapped in bacon just melted in your mouth.
STEAK!!!
Hope you all had as good a dinner as we did!
Blue Skirt & Knitted Sweater
So this is the sweater I just finished knitting, made with some AMAZING yarn my friend
got for me at a Fiber Festival which I AM going to attend this year :)
It's 65% Wool 35% Silk. It's so light I really love it for fall!
I haven't put any buttons on it yet, I really want to find some neat one. :)
It look much better on a person but .. I had no one to take a picture for me.
So, yesterday i decided my pile of things to "Re-do or Mend" had gotten quite big enough
I got quite a bit done and fixed some skirts that I've been meaning to for a LONG time :)
Here's the skirt before.. quite puffy and uncomfortable at the waist.
Here it is after! Much better!
And here they are together!

Purple Civil war Dress (Butterick 6694)
So i finally got around to posting some picture of the dress i made for my friend, please forgive how rumpled the dress is, I was sewing in a hurry and didn't have time to iron it out.
This is what i did to lift the slight train it had.. it was SO pretty but train's are impractical for dancing.
And forgive the messy room and hall!
This was before the buttons where put on.
without the undersleeves.
Knitting A Sweater
I have 3 skeins of Fishman's wool from Hobby Lobby that are begging to be made into something..
And this cloudy chilly day has gotten me in the mood to knit.
So i spent most of the morning on ravelry.com (I Highly recommend this site it has TONS of free patterns and you can save the ones you like in your "notebook") Looking for the perfect pattern, and have narrowed it down to 5... :)
I really like this one! But i think it's more my style than moms..
I like how long this one is, and i like stockinette stitch with a border.
I like this one, but it has a bit to much lace work at the bottom, Not what i'm looking for right now.
So i'm leaning towards this one... I'll lengthen the sleeves if i make it...
So! This is what i'll be working on for the next couple days / weeks / months..
